Benefit for the Leonia High School Music Dept.

Our January 26 concert to support the Leonia High School Music Department—featuring the Department's students, Leonia Chamber Musicians, and Si-Yo Artists™—drew an impressive crowd of families and music lovers to Leonia United Methodist Church. Attendees enjoyed performances of pieces by composers including Mendelssohn, Schubert, and Lennon/McCartney.

This event is part of our free Classically Leoniaâ„¢ series with Leonia United Methodist Church, which presents classical music to the New Jersey community in a warm, acoustically resonant venue.

Novel Voices: Refugee Aid Project
​
Si-Yo Artistâ„¢ Carr-Petrova Duo's (Molly Carr and Anna Petrova) inspirational "Novel Voices" project gives "voice and visibility, through music and film, to the lives and struggles of both local and international refugee communities, and to encourage audiences and artists alike to become connected and involved." For the past year the duo has been giving free concerts and workshops to displaced populations while generating awareness and funds for national and international refugee aid programs.

Carl Patrick Bolleia Delights Sold-Out Carnegie Hall Crowd with Rzewski World Premiere

In his debut solo recital at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Si-Yo Artist™ Dr. Carl Patrick Bolleia captivated the packed audience with the world premiere of Frederic Rzewski’s "Let It Shine." He also played selections from Rzewski's North American Ballads and works by Bach, Couperin, Takemitsu, and Bolcom.
