Si-Yo Artist™ Roster

Our artists are aspiring and professional musicians from the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Through their dedication to performances, education, and community service, they are our ambassadors of Western classical music. We provide our artists with international teaching and performance opportunities, an instrument lending program, and a support network of kindred souls who are diverse in talents and passions yet united in their love of music.
Our artists are also busy with events outside of Si-Yo; keep up with them on our blog!

Founded in 2012, NAMIROVSKY-LARK-PAE TRIO (formerly Trio Modêtre) is a charismatic chamber ensemble known for their unbridled energy and imaginative interpretations of works in the classical and contemporary canon. They are recipients of the Silver Medal and the G. Burt & Charlotte Ford Fund at the 2012 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and 2016 Tarisio Trust Young Artist Grant.

2019 looks forward to the release of Namirovsky-Lark-Pae Trio’s new album titled Masterpieces Among Peers: Trios by Frank Bridge and Johannes Brahms, which is supported by the Tarisio Trust in London and Si-Yo Music Society Foundation, under TYXart Label in Germany. This recording revives his Second Piano Trio alongside another incredible masterpiece of the repertoire, Brahms Trio No. 1 in B major.

N-L-P’s musical influences span many centuries and continents, from Bluegrass in Kentucky to the traditions of Europe, the Middle East and Asia. They are also a proud advocate of new music and presenting the works of living composers including Roberto Kalb, whose work Le Dormeur du Val was given the world premiere in 2012, and LA- based composer Daniel Temkin.

Each member of N-L-P enjoys an international career as a seasoned soloist and chamber musician, and has performed across four continents including USA, Belgium, France, Italy, Israel, Spain, Germany, Russia, Japan, China, Korea, and New Zealand. Pursuing their deep affection for chamber music, they have also been Artists-in-Residence at a number of highly regarded festivals including Marlboro, Ravinia Steans Music Institute, Yellowbarn, Prussia Cove, Kneisel Hall, and the Perlman Music Program, and have collaborated with a wide array of internationally renowned artists including Itzhak Perlman, Pamela Frank, Donald Weilerstein, Kim Kashkashian, Ralph Kirshbaum, Hamish Milne, Paula Robinson, Peter Wiley and Arnold Steinhardt. The trio’s most influential mentors have been Miriam Fried, Lucy Chapman, Hung-Kuan Chen, and Vivian Hornik Weilerstein.
