Si-Yo Honors New Jersey City University on April 27 at Weill Hall, Carnegie Hall

Si-Yo Music Society Foundation proudly announces the inaugural Sau-Wing and Jean L. Lam Award, in honor of two of the original founders of the Foundation. The Lams generously supported the next generation of musicians. This award honors those who strive to educate, inspire, and support the next generation of musicians from all backgrounds.

This year’s award goes to the New Jersey City University Music, Dance and Theater Department (NJCU MDT) for its extraordinary contributions to "inspiring a global community with classical music."

"The NJCU MDT exemplifies the spirit and purpose of the Foundation’s founders. Its dedication to the highest standards of artistic excellence," said Chairwoman and President Eva Lerner-Lam. "Its service to a diverse student population at both the undergraduate and graduate levels contributes in a truly meaningful way to the educational, intellectual, cultural, and socio-economic environment of the surrounding urban region and beyond."

Please join us for a special performance by NJCU MDT students and alumni.
